Dear Sir/Madam,

I completed an M.Sc program at the University of Leeds to consolidate on my practical knowledge and specialized in digital and RF wireless communications. I have covered areas including MIMO OFDM Wireless Communication Systems, Ultra Wide Band Systems, GSM/CDMA systems and RF Network System planning. I have 2 years working experience in a Microwave Communication environment and Data Communications environment, planning and installing VSATs, DSL networks, Wireless LANs and Ethernet.

I consider myself a determined engineer with a strong motivation to excel either as a team player or an individual. My communication skills: verbal, written and presentation are effective and I believe that with all my training and experience I will able to work in a changing environment like the telecommunications industry, which is quite dynamic in terms of the evolution of new technology. My work attitude is influenced by my determination to be successful on a job; I like to take the initiative on difficult assignments to provide innovative solutions, while consulting with others to make things even better. I am interested in working as a telecoms systems engineer because it will present various opportunities in project implementation, technical support and maintenance, solutions development, etc.

My long term goals are to continuously develop my all-round work competence to enable me perform excellently on a job and rise to take on positions of higher responsibilities while contributing to many achievements in the companies business; at the same time I will work towards becoming a telecommunications specialist, well-informed about both the technical and business aspects and global trends in the industry, with the view that the organisation will become a major global player. I also plan to join and get involved in more professional organisation activities and certification to facilitate my learning process as well as my business and technology awareness. This plan should span the first 1 to 10 years after I conclude my M.Sc. studies and commence work. After which I believe my work capabilities will be enormous and even more useful to managing new possibilities such as technical consultancy.
