Description:	Facilities of BTS's of GSM Nokia From December 2003 until August 2004, I was hired by this company, acting as installations supervisor for final client CTI. My main task like supervisor of facilities for the client it consisted of carry out the coordination of the works of the companies contractors, (CIS, Coasin, Lucom, Sepcom, NH, between another) entrusted of making the adaptations in first place or previous preparations and later on the final facilities of the equipments of telephony cellular GSM 3G, in their Indoor versions (inside shelters) and Outdoor in rural sites and roof top of building. The NOMC managed the event occurrence and performance in CMS8800 Ericsson Cellular System composed of a 30 Mobile Switching Centers (AXE-212-20/25/30) and more than 1700 RBSs, included 800 Mhz and 1900 Mhz frecuency, DAMPS system. RBSs 882, 884, H-Power, Macro, Compact, Micro and 884 PCS models. The NOMC is composed by high skilled Technicians and Engineers as a higher level of support into Telecom Personal S.A. They are formed with a strong background (minimum 3 years of experience) in the role of AXE Tester (BYB 202 & BYB 501), and Hands-on in Cell Sites (RBSs), Data Implementation, Testing and Acceptance. Supplementary, other equipments are watching 24 hs /7 days a week such as: SMS Platform (Sema Group). WAP – Tigris Platform, WOA – Web On Air, Administration and O&M. JAMBALAS Platform (HLR/SCP). VOICE MAILS (Sierra-Lucent). IVRs- NEC. IDNX (NET) Multiplexer and Croos Conect, 190 Nodes building the Network. The last equipments that are been monitoring for us, is GSM / GPRS Ericsson system. It included 200 BTS’s + BSC + MSC/HLR. FUNCTIONS INVOLVED IN WATCHING AND O&M THE NETWORK * Alarm Handling (APZ, APT, External Alarms, Power Alarms, Mobile Base Station, CCITT7 / SS7 signalling faults, CP indication faults, Clock Reference Repairs, Group Switch Repair, SP node restart, Common Charging Output Error, Switching Network Terminal Fault, Blocking Supervision, etc) * Routine Maintenance (MSC/IOG Life Line Procedure, Back up information dump, System Back up to main store implementation.) Backups to Optical Disk. * Functional Statistic by means of daily list routine commands. * Size Alteration of data records. * ACAs Loading and correction activation-Alarm System Management, FSC Bulletings at maintenance windows, night shift. * Malfunction Log processing, analysis, and corrective actions. * I/O Management –IOG 11 – AP. Admin AT´s. Set-up and Control of X-25 from TMOS system. * Checking Load Processor and control of Software Error with posterior actions in accordance with OPIs, JOPs, in AXE Library Explorer (ALEX last version). We were using Older versions such as WinDocView, KRSWin. * Definition of RBS routes and devices in MSC DATA MBS. * Links Quality Statistics based in DIREP command POD. * Data Transcript creation, using the Ericsson Data Transcript System Support Tool – DTSS. * Periodic Software loading supervision (RCSUFILE version). * Loading HLR Subscriber Data Corrections, (DTs) preparing engineering’s department. * B-Number , A-Number analysis, necessary in Customer Service Complaints Tickets. CELLULAR NETWORK - ERICSSON OSS SYSTEM The Platform TMOS – CMOS is used for many purposes in daily tasks. This one is running Unix (Sun Solaris 2.5) over Servers and WS – SUN. The main tools used here is the FAULT MANAGEMENT. * CHA – Command Handling * ALP – Alarm List Presentation * NSP – Network Status Presentation * ALV – Alarm Viewer ( new version Tools ) * ALR – Alarm Text Routing With the same purpose are used in the place of MSC tools such as PC (AT’s) running Winfiol, Reflection-X, and Proccom Plus, all over Windows NT platform into Corporation-Intranet.
