Description: The main goal of this task is to study the implementation of fixed/Mobile relay or repeater station in cellular (802.16, 16e, 16j) network to enable multi-hop communication. The repeater will be to be able to communicate with several mobile terminals. In order to forward all the channels to the base station via relay station it will use OFDM / OFDMA technique to utilize frequency spectrum more efficiently. A highly integrated solution must be sought since the cost of a fixed repeater should remain low compared to a base station.

• Implementation of ”Digital Radio Link” in MATLAB
Tools: MATLAB, Radio Transceiver equipment.
Description: Bit Error Rate studying after the detection / demodulation of received data, which is transmitted through the radio channel with Implementation of different coding, error correction and modulation techniques. These techniques are first studied and implemented with Matlab codes and then applied to the different instruments for measurements. The different codes used are
