Sr. Field Integration Engineer

Responsibilities:

To integrate new GSM/3G (Node B, RBS) cell site, performing Rehoming of existing GSM Site to another BSC. Also implementations of Circuit Work Order of a GSM Sites, responsible for ADM Equipment cross connections thru NMS as per Transmission design (both for Rehoming and New Sites), and handle planning transmission network for 3G.
Providing assistance to contractors in testing and troubleshooting encountered during the installation and commissioning.

Other responsibilities:

-Team Leader of Field Engineers .
-To provide technical support and do troubleshooting on site with the team.-
-Perform site rehoming
-To assess test results in close collaboration with the engineering team to optimize the wireless network.

Responsibilities

GSM BTS Test & Commissioning Supervisor- Responsible for dispatching the BTS testers to their daily work schedules, keeping Test Result records to a database (Microsoft Access), on call (in case of trouble) for sites to be integrated, responsible for the RT expansion (installation, testing and reconfiguring BTS) for Central Region KSA. Hold technical training as per project required.

GSM BTS Integration - Responsible for integrating the new cell site to be on air and responsible for verifying the parameters of the new sites like Cell ID, BCCH, BTS Config., TX Power, RX level, etc.

GSM CWO Implementation - Responsible for implementing the Circuit Work Order for the new cell site, from the BTS side to the BSC side and performing the end to end tests.

GSM Installation planner – responsible for extracting information in the FDED (Final detailed Engineering Design), like the BTS Configuration, BTS type, Antenna type etc.

GSM Test and Commissioning (Lucent BTS 2000 12in, 12od, 2C): 900Mhz/1800Mhz responsible for testing and commissioning the BTS 918/12 Equipment for GSM Cell Site, perform testing procedures and inspecting external and internal cabling of the Equipment BTS 918/12 in newly installed cell site. Also responsible for power upping the Power Plant of the Equipment BTS 2000 . And provide troubleshooting as required.

BTS 900/9 and Lucent BTS 2000 12in, 12od, 2c Installer: 900Mhz/1800Mhz responsible for the installation of GSM cell sites. Perform equipment installations External & Internal Cabling of BTS 900/9 and 918/12 on PTT exchange buildings and GSM Shelters. Including the E1 link through the DSX frame.

BCF and STF installer and tester - Responsible for power up and testing the A-bis interface and M-interface cables going to DSX frame, configuring the STF how many M-group will be activated.
Activating BCF server in preparation for operation.

GSM Warehouse Personnel:

- Responsible for the GSM materials that are to be shipped to Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh. And also responsible for the material inventory of the warehouse.
