Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 Working as an RF Optimization Engineer for Alcatel/Ericsson GSM 1800 Band of Digitel Mobile Philippines Inc.
 Conducts network-wide data service audit (KPI, data performance, signal quality, traffic and utilization assessment) for optimization.
 Performs drivetests/walktest for VIP complaints, customer complaints using optimization tools such as TEMS Investigation, and AGILENT NITRO.
 Analyzes statistics, drivetest/walktest data and indicators for optimization using ACTIX Analyzer post processing tool and MAP INFO Tool.
 Monitors network performance and generate reports and recommendations to meet the desired Key Performance Indicators.
 Site Database Collection for optimization purposes using MAPINFO 7.0.
 Conduct drivetest of newly integrated sites to check coverage extent, call quality, sectorization and handover performance of newly integrated sites.
 Performs site audit for Inspection of antenna types, orientation, tilting and configuration of newly integrated sites.
 Conducts drivetest/walktest to verify spillage, overshooting and compares data after change out and rehosting activities.
 Conducts drivetest/walktest to determine coverage holes in the network.
 Conducts benchmark to assess network performance as compared to the other networks.
 Trend & analyze SDCCH and RTCH Congestion, trigger TRX upgrades, additional SDCCH allocation and half-rate activation.
 Implement BSS parameter changes, neighbor definitions/deletions & frequency retune as well as physical changes to improve network performance.
