Responsible for: Roll Out Program UMTS
Project: Telcel 3G Rollout

Responsible for the roll out of the new 3G Flexi BTS system across Telcel’s existing GSM network within 5 states. The main feature of this system being the distributed nature of the BTS, whereby the RF modules are mounted close to the antennas and connected by fibre optic to the Base station. Reporting directly to the National TI manager as well as the Project director. Management of all subcontractors, including reporting of program and cost.

• Management of Acquisition of sites for Ericsson, Vodafone and T-mobile.
• Sites are in difficult acquisition areas i.e. Church property.
