Having 7+ years exclusive telecom domain experience. Presently associated with Alcatel-Lucent Newbury, UK and is involved in element testing of different nodes like HLR and SCCPR. This testing involves new build verification, non-regression, regression, functional and load testing of the nodes.

Earlier I was associated with System Integration Team at Alcatel Shanghai Bell, Shanghai, China for MxBSC testing and was involved in GSM-BSC testing which includes testing of newly added features to BSC (GSM2.5G). New build verification, non-regression, functional and start up testing.

Prior to this, I was involved in End to End System Integration testing and Operation and Maintenance of CDMA 2000 system for Reliance Infocomm and Tata Teleservices Limited.

Having good working knowledge about the Alcatel-Lucent MxBSC (TDM and IP), Alcatel-Lucent CDMA (Modecell 3.0) BTS , ECPC-BSC systems (Alcatel-Lucent) and Motorola BSC network. Possessing field experience of CDMA network, and has worked with various tools: e.g., RMT, NetHawk, Test Suite, SMAP, INTH and etc.

Title: - Technical Leader (Testing)

Project 1:- HLR and SCCPR node Testing, Alcatel-Lucent, Newbury, UK

 Overview of Project:

It is basically an on-site project. Customer is Alcatel-Lucent, UK. It was an element testing project for a new feature called FUER for two different nodes HLR and SCCPR. The HLR and SCCPR currently used and implemented in live network by Vodafone, UK. Incase of HLR A new ODB called Fair Use Exceeded Restriction (or ODB FUER) will be stored in the subscriber data. It will be administered and viewed as just another ODB. A new optional configuration item shall define the restricted QoS value to be applied to subscribers that have the ODB FUER set. The configuration item should include all of the QoS, ExtQoS and Ext2QoS values.
On SCCPR a new utility called FUERCIU is implemented which will be corned once a day and use a csv formatted file to prepare admin command for subscriber whose are to be barred. According to file input number of subscriber will be barred and debarred accordingly.

 My responsibilities include:

 Involved in writing Test Strategy for HLR testing.
 Involved in preparing test cases.
 Involved in preparing test plans and specifications.
 Reviewing Design document
 System and feature testing
 Load and performance Testing for nodes and concluding their test results.
 Performance benchmarking for nodes as per specifications.
 Verification of logs for the different call scenarios using different test tools like INTH, mortar and etc.
 Bug Tracking-using RoundUp.

My achievements include:
 Our team and me successfully establishment of first normal call on newly ported MxBSC.
 Shown exceptional professional behaviour and achieved the goals within time frame.
 Successful start up of three different releases of BSC i.e B8 and B10 and B11.
 Received best team member award from customer as well as from Aricent.

Technical environment: It is a Linux based HLR and SCCPR system which is being used by Vodafone in their live network. Different tool like INTH, mortar and endor are used for functional and load testing. INTH simulates core network nodes against to DUT (HLR or SCCPR). Endor is used as clear case and mortar is used to compile and store reports and executables. In Load testing Load for HLR is generated by Linux INTH in term of TPS and in case of SCCPR Vms based INTH is used to generate load in terms of through put per day.
Tools Used: - INTH, Mortar, HLR, SCCPR.

Project 2:- MxBSC Testing, Alcatel-Lucent, (Shanghai and Velizy)

 Overview of Project:
It is basically an on-site project. Our customer was Alcatel-Shanghai-Bell (Shanghai and Velizy). It was an integration and end to end simulated testing of GSM 2.5G BSC, which had been modified from its legacy BSC to new face. Involved in writing test cases for new added features
 My responsibilities include:

 Involved in executing the test cases for FAT, Reg, Non Reg, Start up and Build testing.
 Running calls on simulated as well real/end to end environment for new BSC releases.
 Verification of logs on Abis/A interface for the different call scenarios using different test tools like NetHawk, Test suite and WireShark.
 Working on system feature test cases related to new test feature testing related to different fields.
 Bug Tracking-using ER/FR.

Technical environment: It is a BSC mounted on Montavista Linux system. This BSC can support upto 1000 TRX and all modern telecommunication features included, AoIP and going further it will have A-flex features. BSC works on NGN environment where for A signalling is transported on IP using protocols M2UA, M3UA and SIGTRAN.
Tools Used: - Proprietary tool: BSC terminal, Trace & Debug terminal, Data load segment (DLS) tool, Ethereal, Transcorder (TC) terminal and BTS terminal, OMC-R, General Tools: NetHawk Server/Client, MSC-EMU, Alcatel-Evolium BTS, Simulator for IP Testing Designed by Alcatel Shanghai Bell.

Title: - Senior Engineer (Networks)

 My responsibilities include: At TTSL I had been working on live RAN network for Delhi NCR region as Senior Engineer. It includes the following responsibilities
 Integration, Testing and Commissioning of CDMA (Partial 3G Network) based OMC-R,
 CBSC (MM & XC), SDU, SUN Solaris UNIX based UNO Server; Cisco based OMC-IP, Access Node (Includes MLS & Aggregation Node).
 Integration of BTS with the CBSC (MM & XC) and Perform the call testing.
 Local acceptance test of BTS (SC4812T-MC) by using LMF software
 Monitoring of cell sites from OMC before handing over to the Operation and Maintenance.
 Quality audit of cell sites before handing over to the Operation and Maintenance.
 Creation of ECP and DCS forms for cell site before the Integration.
 Providing support to BTS field team for Installation, Testing and commissioning.

Title: - Engineer (Implementation and Integration)

 My responsibilities include: At NuTek I had worked for implementing and roll out of CDMA 20001x network for Lucent Ltd. Lucent Ltd was our client and Lucent has taken a multimillion-dollar contract from one of the CDMA operator in India (Reliance Infocomm ltd.). During my term in NuTek my responsibilities were
 Integration, E2E Testing and Commissioning of CDMA 3G-1x Network roll over for one of the Service Provider in CDMA services
 Integration of BTS with MSC and Perform the call testing.
 Local acceptance test of BTS by using LMF software
 Monitoring of cell sites from OMC before handing over to the Operation and Maintenance.
