To whom it may concern,

I have worked over 17 years in telecommunications, especially on the mobility arena on many different projects and in several different areas.

I have a lot of international and U.S. experience. I have also worked with large corporations such as Lucent and Intel, where I have had the opportunity to expand my knowledge to some other areas like company values, developing and motivating personnel, time management, applying emotional intelligence to the workplace, women and men in the work environment, and diversity, among other areas. I work pretty well with others and I like to build teams and drive them to success, especially with multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds.

At ICE (Costar Rican Telecom owned by the Government) I was part of the planning and commissioning team for transmission networks, such as microwaves, optic fiber, and wireless. At Lucent I did the same as the service counterpart of the entire project for several customers especially in Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean. As part of this pre-sales effort, one of my major duties was to keep all customers that I was responsible for updated by providing seminars, technical presentations and even formal training. This experience enabled me to be aware of the state-of-the-art technology. I also provided the best available solutions in the market to fulfill their technical needs in terms of solution but especially services. As a continued effort, I had to make sure that their networks were updated and kept their own customers satisfied and competitive on their own markets.

Finally, I would like to mention that I speak English, French, Italian and some Portuguese, in addition to Spanish, my mother tongue. I love to learn languages and I will be more than willing to learn more.

I believe I am the ideal candidate for this position. I am ready to provide expert advice and manage current and new products. I have the managerial skills to make this happen with a technical team.
