I have worked in the Aircent GPRS products team consisting of GPRS protocol stacks and GSN-Lite products.Lately moved to 3G RNC development team where I have worked on RRC for PDTS and mobilty ares.
In my past projects, I have been involved in various types of projects, such as testing, maintenance, feature design & enhancements, scaling, release upgrades based on latest specifications, new feature design and implementation. I must say that I could do justice to all and importantly have learnt from all the above projects.

Project Name: IHSPA RNC Adapter
Description:This project was to implement the CS enabled handover UE in RRC connected mode in RNC.
Role and Responsibility: Senior Software Engineer
 This feature was to design and imlement Handovers for UE wanting a CS call when only PS calls were supported.
 Module design, implementationa and testing was my responsibility.
Technical Environment: C, SDL, RRC

Project Name: IHSPA RNC Adapter (maintenance)
Description: This was to support the new features and existing RNC, as it was tested with testing team Role and Responsibility: Senior Software Engineer
 Analyzing the logs from FT team and providing solution in the code for the problem reported ( areas I looked were mobility, state transitions)
 Helping junior team mated with their analysis and code fixes.

 With a team of 5, I was majorily looking into the HLD, designning FSM for the UE.
 Module implementaion and feature testing for cell updates procedures when UE is in URA_PCH/CELL_PCH state.
 Complete testing for URA_PCH/CELL_PCH state being implemented.

Project Name: GTP-SNDCP Relay deveopment
Description: The project was services project for a Japan based customer and aimed at integarting 2.5 SGSN stacks and 3G GTP for a client requiered SGSN
Role and Responsibility: Senior Software Engineer
 I was the Prime for requirement elicitation & design in the project and my role involved designing the Relay layer between SNDCP and GTP.
 Complete responsibility for coding, testing and integarting of Relay was on me.
 Integrating all stacks (NS, BSSGP, LLC, SNDCP and GTP-U along with Relay ) at customer site.
 Testing of the integrated SGSN at customer site. Execution of testcases designed by customer at their end.

Project Name: Distribution of Gb over IP
Description: The project was services project for a US based customer and aimed at distributing the BSSGP/NS-IP stack running over multiple blades in HA mode.
Role and Responsibility: Senior Software Engineer
 I was the Prime for requirement elicitation & design in the project and my role involved designing all call-flows and signalling protocol scenario’s required for distribution.
 This was to customize NS as per requirements given by customer.
 Contributed to vital procedures in BSSGP : BVC-RESET and PFM procedures design.
 Was responsible for coding and testing Alive, Delete, RDF and ADD procedures for NS.

Project Name: GSN-Lite Readiness for IMS
Description: This activity is taken to make GSN-Lite to support IMS application. The purport is a demo showing IMS application access via GSN-Lite tunnel.

 To make the ARICENT-IMS clinet interact with each other via GSN-Lite tunnel.The whole concept of this end-to-end call was my domain.
 Was involved in writing a white paper explaining the details and benefites of above call flow.(This paper was internal to ARICENT).

Project Name: GSN-Lite RADIUS AAA enabling
Description: GSN-Lite is a low cost field deployed SGSN-GGSN solution from Aricent This Project was to enable the existing GSN-Lite to interact with RADIUS servers for Authentication and Accounting purpose
Role and Responsibility: Senior Software Engineer
 As a technical member, I was solely responsible pointing the changes in existing code and designing and coding of new AAA feature
 The activity involved careful analysis and change of the GTP interface and developing new interface with RADIUS server.
 Complete implementation of feature.
 Guiding juniors to develop testacase for the feature based on HLD.
 The activity got completed before time and the delivery had not a single PQT defect regarding capacity.

Project Name: BSSGP-BSS upgrade for RIM procedures.
Description: The project was to upgrade the existing implementation of RIM procedure at BSSGP-BSS with latest specification compliance

 Single handed ownership of the project right from requirement elicitation with the client to designing, coding, testing, documentation and support.
 Upgrading the application to support new features in the stack to support the RIM feature to support NACC.
 Integrating and testing of developed RIM feature with real BSS and SGSN at client’s DDF.
