I am Bharathi mani, Worked as a Switch Engineer in “Aircel Cellular Limited” for 2 years and 3 months. Has a good exposure to GSM and GPRS technologies and hands on experience in ERICSSON switches (APG/IOG). Has experience in upgrading Ericsson switches by coordinating with Ericsson.

Responsibilities:

Operation, Maintanence, Testing , Commissioning of Ericsson Sswitches. Hands On duties with CDR. Integration,Migration,Dual Band implementation of new BTS sites.
KPI report generation,processing and analysis for network performance. RF parameters changing for Optimization.C7 signalling definition and Implementation.AMR,HR ,FR coder definition and implemntation.

 Preventive Maintenance,involves CP,AP,NT backup on hard drives and DAT
 Coordination with Ericsson for switch related faults
 Coordination with vendors for R12 up gradation of MSC\HLR\SCP nodes
 Roaming problems and co-ordination of tests with other operaters
 Analysis of Report Generated for Optimization of Network performance
 Call routing, establishing and B-Number analysis
 Fixing and analyzing any PSTN and IVR related issues
 HLR Reconciliation

 Diagnosis and Troubleshooting of faults generated in BSC
 Radio parameters changes & frequency plan implementation in co-ordination with planning and project section
 Preparation of data transcript in BSC for commissioning of BTS sites (1800, 900 bands) into the network
 Up gradation of BTS sites to increase network traffic load capacity
 Loading of new versions of BTS software for better network coverage & performance . Co-ordination with BTS Engineers to resolve any network degrading faults generated at BTS sites
 Preventive Maintenance, involves CP, AP and SP (software, exchange data) backup on hard drives, DAT and optical disks
 Co-ordination with BTS Engineers and vendors to integrate new base stations and EDGE implementations
 BTS site migration between BSC’s for network optimization
 Analysis of Measurement Reports of various BTS for optimization of BTS performance
 Generate KPI reports of all BSC’ nodes from OSS
 Coordination with BTS team for dual and Edge TRX definition and implementation
