WCDMA:
Since 2006
Tasks:
o Study and evaluation of offers been issued by WCDMA vendors in response to Maroc Telecom RFQ (NOKIA, HUAWEI, MOTOROLA, ERICSON).
o Integration of tools for WCDMA network performance follow up and benchmarking (GENEX NASATR, NETACT Reporting Suite).
o Definition of KPIs and thresholds for WCDMA performance and benchmarking.
o Definition of Test protocol providing benchmarking between Service quality as viewed from subscriber and QOS assessed by GENEX, NSATAR and NETACT Reporting Suite.
o Generating reports of WCDMA performance for high management.
o Issue of a RFQ and study of offers for the acquisition of a WCDMA tool to consolidate network statistics from different vendors.
o Follow up of the daily WCDMA network performance.
o Daily analysis of top cells based on: congestion, RRC connection and RAB establishment failures.
o Weekly meetings with WCDMA vendors for network performance follow up.
o Regular Meeting with vendors to define and follow up parameter changes and physical optimisations .
o Validation of New site while and after integration: Parameters and KPIS .

GSM & GPRS:
Since 2002
Tasks:
o Follow up of the daily GSM/GPRS network performance.
o Call trace analysis using CTP (Call Trace Product) for advanced problems investigation (MOTOROLA).
o Neighbour lists analysis and optimization by using per neighbour statistics
o Drive test analysis and problems reporting using MAPINFO for geographical mapping (problems detection by location)
o Weekly meetings with other departments (Maintenance, Radio Planning, BSS planning) for network performance follow up.
o Weekly meetings with GSM/GPRS vendors for network performance follow up.
o Validation of the planned operations: new frequency plan, reparainting, BSS upgrade, physical optimisation.
o Definition of KPIs by the implementation of new BSS features (HR, DCS1800, and EDGE).
o Support of Maintenance, Radio Planning and BSS Planning departments to:
o Validate maintenance actions
o Validate BSS and radio parameters changes
o Propose BSS network expansions and deployment based on statistics
o Deliver training sessions to regional departments:
o Present main KPIs: theory and real examples
o Present METRICA WEB tool for the quality of service follow up
