 RF site survey

 Site Planning (Macrocell & Microcell) from coverage as well as capacity point of view for whole Karnataka. Identifying the buildings for newly planned sites, conducting RF surveys & evaluating the best option from RF point of view.
 Traffic monitoring & analysis for the cells and accordingly implementing the changes to meet the capacity requirements of the network (e.g. TRX addition & Cabinet expansion).
 GSM Antenna type & location selection for the sites.
 Mapping the customer complaints on the MapInfo for identifying the coverage & quality problems in the network.
 COW location planning for temporally providing coverage.
 BSC planning, LAC planning.






 LOS site survey

 Checking for obstacle details that may obstruct the transmission path of MW link as planned.
 Extraction of AMSL values from Global Mapper 8.0. On field obstacle heights collection of transmission path of PTP MW link.
 Path profile generation and verification for the PTP microwave links using pathloss 4.0.
 Proposing the optimum height of antenna keeping in view the height of obstacles and clearance criteria.

 Project Co-ordination

 Preparing the database for the new sites.
 GIS Updating & Survey Database Maintenance.
 Coordinating the RF survey teams and guiding them to get perfect nominals.
 Tracking halted sites and NBH tracking from OSS.
