Scope : The Alcatel Wimax strategy aims to provide a comprehensive end to end solution tailored for mobile and fixed operators.OMC-R performs network surveillance, QOS monitoring and radio network planning / optimization for the Wimax Access Network. OMC-R includes components like configuration management, performance management and 3GPP, QOS Alerter, BS and WAC.
Role : Project Management as well as technical management which includes high-level
project plan and low-level project plan for the tasks / work assignments, along
with the issues list and constantly tracked it internally with and upper-
management. Proactively manage team and communicate project risks and issues to the worldwide teams. Setting KRA’s expectations (KPI) for each team

Title : Development of Feature - TNPP/OCL for SMServer

Scope : It is a server for handling SMS messages for GSM, IS136 and IS41 standards. TNPP is a technology for data communications protocol used for communications between paging terminals or other types of equipment required to implement a paging system network. The protocol is ASCII character oriented and is transmitted via a standard RS-232 port. The protocol supports variable length packets and grouping of different page and data blocks within the same data packet. The protocol uses three types of error recovery methods, two for full duplex applications and one for broadcast/simplex applications.
Role : Leading this project with a 3 member team. Responsible for analysis of the feature, resource planning and scheduling, delivery management and customer interaction. Contributed to all phases of the project i.e. project estimation, defining the scope and feature of the project, writing functional specification, design, development, reviews and testing of the project. For testing of the project, software simulator was developed. Customer handling and single point of contact for this project.

Scope : It aims in developing Service Independent Block (SIB). SIBs are standard, reusable network-wide capabilities used to create services that can be chained in a logical manner to create a service. Each SIB has a particular functionality associated with it. Both ETSI and ITU provide specifications for SIBs with minor differences.
Role : Responsible for analysis, coding, testing and integration with SCE. Coding of SIBs in a hierarchical manner that enables re-use of common portion & Unit testing.

Scope : The aim of this project is to develop the software for STP (Signal transfer point). One of the modules is YBROAD, which runs on CCM (Common Channel Manager) and broadcast the messages to C.C.D (Common Channel Device), CCLK (Common Channel Link) and HSLK (High-Speed Link) processors. This program (YBROAD) is responsible for distributing messages to the MTP, SCCP, Gateway, and transport Audit programs for CCM, CCD, and CCLk processors.
Role : Low Level Design of YBROAD. Development, Unit Testing and Integration Testing, Testing on switches.

Client : Alcatel USA
Scope : The aim of this project is to develop the software for STP (Signal transfer point). In the enhanced node restart, the installation and the reformatting programs are used to install the new programs and re-formatter is used to reformat the switch with a new load. In Enhanced node restart, MMI (Man Machine Interface) for Timer program is for changing the timer value. The MMI is used to change the timer value that is used by other programs. Then MMI is loaded in the switch.
Role : Low Level Design of Install and Re-formatter. Development and Unit Testing.

Scope : The aim of this project is to develop the software for STP (Signal transfer point). The module is YJDSPG (DSS_MONITOR) program. For the DSS (Distributed SS7 service) processors, YJDSPG provides a common DSS send message functionality for use by SCCP (Signaling connection controlling part) routing in CCD (Common Channel Distributor processor). The YJDSPG program also provides a status and monitoring system for DSS processors.
Role : Low Level Design of YJDSPG, Development and Unit Testing of the module.

Scope : This Software is used for measuring the thickness of rolling mill sheets.
