A) With Vodafone Essar Mobile Services as Engineer, RF Planning & Optimization from 12 June 2006 to 24 March 2008 1. Planning of new sites with respect to Coverage and Capacity. 2. Performing RF Surveys which includes observing type of clutter (Dense urban, High Dense urban), AGL required, azimuth needed, clutter description, Pole description etc. to bring up the new sites. 3. Preparing Infra which includes type of Cabinet, Antenna type, Carrier Configuration, BSC defining, LAC defining. 4. Preparing Databases which includes Frequency Plan for defined Carrier configuration, Neighbor Plan, SDCCH allocation, BSIC Plan etc for new sites. 5. Performing planning for ODM (OUT DOOR Macro’s) to cover hotspots like traffic lights, commercial markets, flyovers etc to offload existing sites. 6. Planning for special events like VODAFONE MARATHON PRE LAUNCH at Chanakya puri which caters around 6000 subscribers, in which Mobile BTS has been set up and configured to cater huge traffic. Planning of MBTS and Traffic optimization was done. Also optimization of neighboring sites was also done. 7. Coordinating with Sales Team and Acquisition team to bring up the new sites. 8. Monitoring of Key Parameter Index which includes Call Set Up Success Rate, Call Set Up Rate, Drop Call Rate. Handover Success Ratio, Handover Failure Ratio, Bit Error Rate, Path Balance, TCH Blocking, SDCCH Blocking, TCH Congestion etc. 9. Performing addition of Carrier/ Hardware in existing/new sites to avoid congestion/blocking. 10. Coordination with Project team and O & M team for improving the stats of sites. 11. Performing Height reduction of neighboring existing sites when new site has been launched, to avoid overlapping. 12. Performing Physical Audits of new sites like checking the Orientation, AGL, Tilt, as described in RF Database. 13. Conducting Drive Testing activity to check the coverage improvement and to ensure better quality. 14. Analysis of Log Files to check Drop Calls, Handover Failures, Bad Quality samples if any. 15. Performing Neighbor Optimization i.e. addition/removal of neighbors. 16. Participated in new technique to provide Coverage in High Rise Buildings like in LAGOON APPARTMENTS, Gurgaon where 45 meters buildings were given coverage by Flood Light like Antennas equipped at ground level. Coordination with WRI Engineers, CHINA to implement this project. One Master and Four Slave units were installed and connected via Optical Fiber equipping 21 antennas to provide -65dBm indoor coverage. B) With ADA CELLWORKS as RF ENGINEER from August 2004 to May 2006 1. Done Planning for Phase IV of UP West, BSNL Project for NOKIA. 2. Handle AGRA, ALIGARH, MATHURA, ETAH, ETAWAH cities of UP West. 3. Done CW Testing and Model tuning in these cities to prepare model with help of NETACT Tool. Omni directional antenna has been installed and drive was done to capture the samples. 4. Accordingly calculated number of site to cover the cities with -75 dBm indoor coverage. 5. Done RF Surveys which includes observing AGL, clutter type, orientation required. 6. Prepared Database for new sites to be on air including frequency plan, neighbor plan, carrier configuration etc. 7. Prepared INFRA for new sites. 8. Performed SWAPPING of ERICSSON BTS to NOKIA BTS. 9. Done Drive Testing to check quality issues, Handover issues, overshooting etc. 10. Done Physical Audits of New Sites i.e. checking AGL, azimuth, tilt etc. 11. Conduct height reduction of neighboring existing sites when new site has been launched. 12. Monitored KPI of new sites i.e. CSSR, DCR, CSR, HFR, HSR, BER, SDCCH Blocking, TCH Blocking, Range of call setup by the reports from REFLECTION SOFTWARE. 13. Done First Successful AT (ACCEPTANCE TEST) for NOKIA with BSNL Officers of KUTCHESAR VILLAGE SITE at Ghaziabad, UP West. |
