January 2008-Present Time. Radio Quality Consultant. Wataniya Telecom Kuwait. Contracted to provide QOS consultant services specifically on 3G and Data networks, including HSDPA..
April 2006-December 2007 RF Field Engineer. Vodafone, Newbury, Berkshire. Contracted to provide RF test services for Vodafone in a field environment. My main responsibilities were to test GSM, 2G/3G and data networks including HSDPA, GPRS in the South of England. This involved the design and implementation of on-board vehicle solutions using the latest technology. Specifically using TEMS and ROMES software. I also supplied EMF surveys, test transmissions and internal testing and system design. In my day to day role I utilised the latest technology in order to provide these services. Corporate coverage troubleshooting, site surveys and advising optimisation and planning engineers/cat planners, this role also involved the use of coverage tools and GIS software including MapInfo. Also competent with TEMS Presentation and the setup of TEMS Automatic.
July 2005-March 2006 RF Field Engineer Hutchison 3G Edinburgh/Glasgow. During this period I have been employed by Hutchison 3G drive testing their network. Gathering and analysing data and reporting to RF planners. This role has predominantly involved the use of drive test WCDMA handsets, scanners, spectrum analysers and test/GIS software with a view to monitor performance on the existing 3 Network. Other areas of test involved quality assurance testing, troubleshooting complaints on coverage and upgrade testing. Cell site audits, post-processing, reporting and liaising with RF planners and optimisation engineers. This role utilised various software test suites and handsets, various administrative tools (laptops, PDA’s, Blackberries, test handsets) strong usage of MapInfo.

April 2003-June 2005 Test Technician Roscom/Airwave, U.K.Wide.
Responsible for testing and gathering data for Tetra (Police digital radio system) on the Airwave network. Utilising Company resources (ACG’s, handsets, PDA’s, Blackberries, laptops, attenuators, satellite navigation systems, RF test equipment) I was tasked with testing/gathering data, post-processing and producing reports. My role involved the care and maintenance of test equipment , vehicle and other company assets. Identifying cell sites and analysing/understanding data in order to advise on the network.
August 2001-April 2003 Account Executive Thales Telematics PLC, Linlithgow. Marketing, promoting and negotiating company product (GPRS/GSM Navigation Systems) within Scotland. Responsible for the development of new business, reviewing present accounts and implementing new systems within business environments.
November 2000-July 2001 Cell Coordinator Sun Microsystems PLC, Linlithgow. Employed by Sun within the High End Business Unit controlling production and manpower. Coordinating up to fifty assembly, test and debug technicians to output high performance business servers. Ensuring quality, time and volume targets reached. Dealing with all other business units to achieve business goals. I was also managing the parts and material revue board.
