Manager • Perform site visits during the installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of the BTS, BSC, antenna system and transmission systems in order to ensure that the quality standards given are fulfilled. • Clarify with the manager Implementation problems that might occur during implementation. • Regular reporting of status of all sites with coordination of project control department. • Daily monitoring of hold-up sites and coordinate with the vendors so that work can be finished in time at these sites. 2. MobiServe Pakistan (Orascom Telecom) Private Ltd (Oct 2004 – Nov 2007) (Islamabad, Pakistan) Designation: Senior BSS O&M Engineer (Team Lead). Managing a team of fifteen engineers and 24 technicians and riggers. Mobiserve is responsible for the BSS O&M activities of Mobilink (mainly Remote regions). Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Mobilink BTS, BSC sites and all the microwave transmission links carrying BSS data, like RSL, MTL, XBL, OML. Installation and trouble shooting of microwave links 1. NEC (SDH, PDH, C-Node) 2. Ericsson 3. XP4 4. Spectrum II 5. Alcatel Rx and TX Power calibration of Motorola BTS cabinets. Calibration of BTS radios (CTUs). VSWR calculation and adjustment (sweep test) using site master. BER testing of the media using BER meter. Installation, calibration and Trouble shooting of rectifiers (Eltek, Ascom, Delta, Emerson). Trouble shooting of various alarms including RSL Link failures, Channel issues, Power issues and Environmental Issues. 3.
