Activity: Transmission Planning - actualize and managing the operator network (CLARO mobile company) in terms of capacity (E1 circuits) between the BTS’s (Abis interface) and between the BTS/BSC/MSC (A, Ater and Gb interfaces). I verify if exist available circuits on the actual network and I study if it’s will support the incremental necessity to migrate (from 2G for 3G, for instance). I prepare the documentation about BTS (Call Off and Datafill) regarding the transmission issues, verifying the actual time-slots in use to do it.
Another theme is regarding the Cutover study: I analyze the traffic capacity for each site and I prepare a study about the how will be the BSC after changes (put the site on air, homing and re-homing sites).
For these activities, the special relationship is required to understand what the client need and what they want. Optimization solutions are a default. Every action is registering by email. Thus are essentials tools to do my job: Office 2007 Package, MapInfo Software, PathLoss Software, MS Project and MS Visio.
