Title: “CELLULAR RF-PLANNING FOR 3G NETWORKS” LORION TELECOM Team Size: 5 Description: This planning is essentially employed by RF Cellular Planning engineers who need to enable coverage on a city or state basis before a new service provider sets up his network. This project also deals with “cell splitting” and “frequency reuse” parameters which are needed to be dealt with in case of an existing network. . 2. Title: “AREA COVERAGE ASPECTS IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION” GALAXIE SOFTWARE SOLITIONS (PVT) LTD. Team Size: 4 Environment: 'C' in an object oriented approach. Description: : The project deals with estimation and simulation of "Area Coverage Aspects Of Mobile Communication" by finding coverage under interference limited circumstances and coverage over circular area and its relations using 'C' in an object oriented approach. It also includes factors affecting signal strength (like terrain parameters such as trees, buildings, hills etc) and its ways to calculate losses that occur coverage calculations in Rural & Urban areas.
