Designation: Senior RF Engineer RF Optimization: Maintaining the KPI’s according to the engineering guidelines of customer Activities: • Conducting drive test immediately after on-air the site • Checking of Orientations, Tilt of antennas, Frequency plan according to the design • Analysis of drive test reports and solve the problems like Cable swaps, Database discrepancies, handover definitions and Interference problems etc., • Analysis of Layer3 Messages • Coverage Optimization – Rx Lev and Rx Qual Optimization to meet Level and Quality commitments • Frequency, MAIO Changes, antenna tilting and height reduction • In-building coverage verification and suggestions for improving coverage • Resolving of Customer complaints Statistics analysis: • Regular network report analysis and suggesting solution • Network performance report with Exec BSC Level, Exec cell level, Engg Cell level, Engg BSC level reports for Traffic, Drop Call Rate, SD Blocking, TCH Blocking, Inter & Intra BSS HSR, AFR, RF Drops etc., • Call path trace (CPT) analyzer report analysis for problematic cells • Extracting the dumps from Pro-Optima toll • BSS Parameter Optimization RF Planning: Designing of network according to the engineering guidelines of operator Activities: • Nominal Cell planning, Site Survey, Site selection, Antenna selection • Propagation Model Tuning • Frequency planning, Neighbor list planning, LAC planning, DRX Expansion and Capacity site planning according to traffic requirements • Making preliminary and final coverage prediction plots • Frequency Plan using Atoll Planning tool BSS: Installation, Commissioning and testing of Motorola BTSs/BSCs equipment Activities: • Installation, Commissioning and testing of Motorola Horizon (Both H1 and H2 Version) BTS equipment and BSC equipment • Calibration of DRI’s, Power Measurement and VSWR Measurement • Antenna mounting structure, azimuth and tilts verification • Provided technical support to Operation and Maintenance team for restoration of faults Professional Trainings undergone: Induction Training course comprising of various components of Tele communication i.e., Switching, Transmission, Wireless technologies and various management aspects, rules and procedures in BSNL at RTTC, BSNL, Chennai, India.
