Senior Secondary from P.S.E.B in 1999 Matric from C.B.S.E. in 1997 Professional Experience From SEP 2006 till date: working with VODAFONE ESSAR SOUTH LIMITED PUNJAB as a RF and Optimisation Engg. Responsible for the optimisation of region of Bathinda, Sangrur, sunam, Barnala, mansa, rampura, malout, Abohar, Faridkot and kotkapura. (Having about 600 sites) Job Profile: · Analyse of TEMS measurements in order to decide the need of new sites either for traffic, coverage or quality. · Diagnose all RF related problems such as interference; call failures, HO failures, TCH congestion, bad quality, poor coverage, hardware faults, link imbalance and missing neighbours. · Carrying out Coverage, Quality, Cell Re-selections, and Handovers test to ascertain the design criteria. Doing survey for Airtel and spice sites for sharing, visiting weak coverage areas with sales and exploring feasibility of site sharing in that area, planning fourth sectors to cover weak coverage areas. Planning height reductions on the basis of TA reports to improve the quality of network. Performing Data drive and testing LLC and RLC throughput for GPRS and EDGE enabled cells. · Optimising Coverage on International Border with Pakistan to restrict coverage of Vodafone towards border. · Traffic Analysis and planning capacity sites and giving inputs for capacity addition to off load highly utilised sites. · Analysing & identifying the FER, KPI, SQI, C/I, in problematic areas/cells. Using MapInfo 8.0 for site acquisition, visualizing drive tests. · Making Tab Files, Piano for frequency planning as new sites are added every month, making cell files for TEMS. · Carrying antenna additions and providing extra capacity to highly utilised cells to optimise congestion and hand in failures on priority. · Optimising the Macro Cell by allocating proper Neighbours, Handover criteria. · Post processing of log files using Tems 5.1 of Ericsson. · Analysing and assigning BCCH and assigning BSIC in case of frequency clash and doing neighbour optimisation. · Drive test using TEMS Investigation version 5.1. Optimisation by Antenna tilts and reorientations, height reduction, antenna type change. · Coordinating with Zonal Manager sales and local sales RM to provide indoor coverage to corporate customers for retaining and to protect churning of customers and providing In Building coverage solutions. · Managing vendor teams who are optimising new sites, cross checking of their work done. · Calibrated cells from 16 to 50W for coverage improvement in remote areas and on highways and from 50 to 16W to optimise interference and also in case when new infill site comes. · Rectifying VSWR alarms with the help of site master. · Installation and deinstallation of TMA’S and Splitters. Previous Experience: March 04 to Sep 06- Hutchison Essar Telecom Limited, Delhi as an Engineer in RF Planning & Optimisation on contract. (Shivam Infocom Pvt. Ltd.) Job Profile: Coordinating with RF Optimisation Team by identification & resolutions of network problems using TEMS investigation tool. Coverage Optimisation Level and Quality Optimisation to ensure Client meets level and Quality Commitments. Optimisation of sites (Changes in Antenna tilt, Azimuth and heights). Performing drive test on Ericsson TEMS v.5.1 for cell site planning, Optimisation of RF Network parameters of Macro as well as Micro (IBC & ODM) sites. Regular drive test and optimisation to ensure that the KPIs set are achieved. Responsible for visiting and resolving the VVIP complaints and area specific corporate complaints to address the issues on Top priority. References: Available on request.
