SW Engineer III (DSP system simulation)
EMP (Ericsson Mobile Platforms) develops wireless platforms which are integrated into various products (Cell phones, PC Cards) by EMP's customers. In 2006, EMP was the number one independent platform supplier with a global WCDMA market share of 25%.
•This position involves the design, coding, debugging and testing of software used in the simulation and modeling of algorithms used in the physical layer for GSM/GPRS, EGPRS and WCDMA.
•Design and development is focused on the baseband algorithms used in circuit switched voice, circuit switched data and packet data applications.
•Travel: 10% Potential trips to Sweden.
•Travel costs outside of RTP will be reimbursable.
