C++, MATLAB, UMTS - A large organisation based in Cambridge requires a C++ software Engineer to join their team based in Cambridge.
Job Description
Participate in the development of next generation Global Navigation Satellite System platform and
help to maintain the competitive edge of existing products.
Major tasks:
1.esign and implement software modules in C/C++ as part of the overall GPS system.
2.evelop and improve efficient implementations of GPS algorithms.
3.%9Validate the implementation and prove the performance both via GPS simulation and real world environment testing.
4.%9Properly document the work.
5.?ctively participate to design reviews.
Education
University degree or similar in electrical engineering, computer science or physics
Experience
"?t least 3 years of experience in digital signal processing : spread spectrum signal tracking / acquisition / data demodulation (GPS is preferred but Radar / UMTS would suit perfectly ).
"?t least 3 years of embedded C/C++ programming language.
"?amiliar with statistics and control theory.
"?xperience of numerical simulation (with MATLAB as preferred environment) and mathematical modeling
