We are currently looking for UMTS Design Engineers with the following background:
Description of responsibilities:
• Design UMTS overlay network for the sites in the polygon defined by the client.
• Generate PICDs, Work on adjusting tilts for existing UMTS sites to accommodate the new sites.
• Design the 2nd carrier UMTS network for capacity.
Experience & skills required:
• UMTS design exp with Atoll preferably in a new market.
• Strong RF knowledge.
• Proficient with GSM basics.
• STRONG UMTS experience.
• Experience with the UMTS design process.
• Knowledge and experience with Atoll is a must.
• Knowledge of Altro ACP tools is a plus.
• Must have worked on a UMTS design project in 2008.
• Any 2nd carrier UMTS design/optimization experience is a plus
Education required (minimum): BSEE
Education desired: MSEE
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Various Locations including Virginia, West Virginia, Denver, Detroit and South Carolina
