Description
Telecoms Engineer to works on complex telecom problems where analysis of wireless data networking problems requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Exercises judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. Incumbent plans and carries out work independently and uses own initiative and judgment to handle non-routine matters and ambiguous issues.
Normally receives only general instructions on new or more complex assignments. Decisions are made independently and are acted upon by self and others.
Responsible for establishing operating guidelines or methods for others.
Provides technical guidance to lower level staff and may lead project team.
Advisory or negotiate in nature and involves both exchange of technical or complex information, and is called upon to convince or negotiate with senior levels of management or equivalents on matters of significant consequence to the company.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of wireless engineering principles, of job-related functional area, of telecommunications technology and industry.
Experience in GSM, GPRS, WiMAX, LTE, WiFi and WCDMA wireless technologies is a great bonus.
Electrical Engineering degree and 5-7 years telecoms job-related experience in USA or Canada.
