The Ericsson Solution Configuration Manager’s position requires is focused on controlling the delivery Projects and Solution Management activities starting from the pre-analysis phase and continues until the end of the solutions lifecycle
Requirements:
- Profound experience with domain knowledge of Configuration Management.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Configuration Management strategy.
- Solution Configuration Management strategy in the projects.
- Maintain traceability throughout the life cycle of the solution.
- Control the solutions solution consisting E/// and non-Ericsson software and hardware, licenses, documentation, processes and changes.
- Recommend tools to be used by the project for Solution Configuration Management.
- Manage and support the tools to support the processes put in place by the project configuration management plan.
- Manage interfaces between project parts (sub-projects, sub-products, sub-contractors etc.)
- Control changes to the solution, i.e. trouble reports.
- Change requests and emergency corrections.
- 3PP Configuration Management.
- Control, development and test the environment.
- Establish and maintain baselines.
- Minimize confusion and prevent scope creep.
