Manpower has a client looking for 3G/IMS Engineers for a direct hire position
Responsible for facilitating/supporting, validation and verification of 3G IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) products at customer sites. Introduce new IMS solutions into customer lab facility and production Networks. Assist customer with product testing within joint customer lab facility. Provide results of testing to customer. Conduct Trials, Demo's, and First Office Application activities.Must be willing to learn new skills by working closely with the different development organizations as the products are being developed.
Responsibilities include a high level understanding of SIP and Open Systems in order to accurately evaluate products in customer environments and provide feedback to development when issues arise. Product evaluation will include working with the customer as the customer interface for scheduling installations, generating test plans, data collection and analysis, and resolution of customer issues for the Network Signaling Group. Working from the Engineering Functional Design specifications and Feature/System/Solution Level Test Plans, create and support Solution Trial Plans within the IMS Reference Architecture such as Fixed/Mobile Convergence (FMC), Multi-Media Instant Messaging (MMIM), SMS Over EvDO.
Summary of Qualifications:Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology or equivalent plus a minimum of 10+ years of telecommunications or related experience. Must have knowledge of various X86 architectures, C, UNIX, and shell/scripting languages, SIP protocol, relational databases, and 3GPP specifications. Must have CCDP, CCNP or CCVP |
