WaveStar Networks is looking for a Wireless Civil Project Coordinator to fill a contract position in Edmonton, Alberta. This would be a 1 year contract, with the possibility of rolling into a permanent position. The position would be contracted through WaveStar and the client is a National Telecom Provider.
The Candidate must have extensive work experience with civil builds in a wireless/RF and telecom environment.
This includes: Tower builds and associated cabling, antennas and associated civil work.
The rate would be $40 - $45 per hour, depending on experience.
Wireless Civil Project Coordinator

SCOPE:
The Wireless Civil Project Coordinator is responsible for civil construction and infrastructure support activities for the Wireless network territory. These activities include design review, coordination and field inspection of civil works within the Wireless network.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan implementation activities, coordinate, and schedule contracted resources required for network augmentation.
- Review planning specifications and Civil Work Orders for technical accuracy and implementation issues
- Resolve civil-orientated Trouble Reports on the network
- Inspect construction activities and conduct Acceptance Handovers on Network Build Activities
- Maintain vendor relationships with civil contractors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- a diploma or degree in Civil Technology or Telecommunications and several years field experience in this environment.
- Ability to travel and a valid drivers’ license
- Candidate must be living in Canada. No international candidates will be considered.
