Carrier Certification Engineer Lead (Singapore)
- Field Test / Interoperability (IOT)
REPORTING TO: Asia Pacific Carrier Certification Lead, Mobile Phone
OBJECTIVES
• Leads Technical Approval of our products (Phone) with a Wireless Carrier(s).
• Include investigation and tracking of issues and verification of fixes.
• Additionally the candidate will also be involved in field testing and
• Preparing technical submissions.
• Leads the investigation of issues reported by the carrier and
• Works with the carrier’s personnel and our development teams to debug and resolve them.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Field support or technical approvals with cellular carriers.
• Experience with GSM communications systems.
• Testing and debug of communications systems.
• Good interpersonal and written/oral communications skills.
• Able to travel internationally (on short notice for up to several weeks).
• Good Project Management skills.
• Issue tracking and management experience.
• Familiarity with WiFi/ BT communications systems.
• Experience with Regulatory approvals.
