Term:1 year
Must Have- Recent site design experience
- iDEN design capability and actual experience
Design and implement AMPS, CDMA (Nortel), 1X, EVDO, iDEN sites
Perform path loss studies, traffic studies, capacity studies, and point to point studies
Design and optimize radio communication sites
Analyze propagation and RF performance
Create and modified frequency plans
Establish coverage and radio communication site requirements, simulate and reduce interference, establish handoff parameters.
Develop methods, processes and tools to optimize the network.
Correct RF design problems and improve network performance by proposing parameter changes and physical changes to antennas
Analyze drive test data and switch data.
Monitor RF network performance of radio cell sites and ensure they are working as designed.
Work closely with Transmission Engineering, RF Field Analysts, RF Performance Engineers, RF Performance Specialists and RF Specialists to achieve the network performance objectives.
Manage cross-functional and often inter-regional projects for the RF Engineering team
