The RF Project Manager will have experience in driving and managing RF circuit projects, but also has a technical understanding of RF circuitry and electronics. Experience or understanding of small commercial Antenna is a plus but not mandatory.
·Works with Marketing and Management to define project specifications, schedule, budget and project justification for major projects. Evaluates and develops the resource requirements for major projects and negotiates with Management to insure those resources are available.
·Performs project management and coordinates with others in R&E, Marketing, and Manufacturing for strategic new products. Develops project schedules and budgets as well as insuring compliance with both.
·Supervises other engineers and subordinates as needed to insure completion of assigned projects. Manages outside resources, (companies, contractors and engineers) to define, develop, validate and produce new products.
·Responsible for managing the schedule and budget of multiple projects or a major project and insuring the performance of the product to be delivered to the customer.
·Prepares presentations and participates in project reviews with Management, Marketing, Manufacturing, and others to insure project acceptance and to convey current project information.
UNDERSTANDING OF:
·Low power RF circuit designs
·RF filters
·RF measurements
·PLL circuits
·Modulation and demodulation circuit design
·RF amplifiers, class A, AB, C
·Receivers, LNA, down converters
·VCO’s
A minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical, or Computer Engineering field and 5+ years related RF experience is required.
Other desired technical capabilities:
Analog design of high speed A/D
Digital signal processing
Basic antenna design
Familiarity with FCC process and regulations for ISM band products is a plus |
