We are currently seeking hard working, dedicated individuals for specific defense related RF/Microwave applications. This would include aspects of classified contractual RF/Microwave work through the Department of Defense.
BS and 10 years or 5 years and MS degree w/ conformal antenna experience.
Heavy emphasis on Research and Development antenna engineers with advanced degrees. Design, Analysis signal leverage and exploitation work for major aerospace companies. We are currently the prime on a antenna that is being mounted on a small UAV. This application requires a conformal, very broadband antenna.
Position Description:
This position requires an experienced and driven RF/antenna engineer to enhance our growing R&D team.
The position requires expertise in RF and microwave design, antenna apertures, wave guides, printed antenna technology, phased arrays, prototyping, innovative fabrication techniques and the use of electromagnetic simulation software (e.g. FEKO, NEC, HFSS, GEMACS) for the analysis and design of advanced military platforms, weapons and products.
Experience with Conformal antennas, stacked patches, traveling wave structures is a plus.
Applicant must be a team player, but must also work independently.
Responsibilities:
• RF and antenna design
• 200 MHz to 3 GHz internal antenna designs
• Understand different RF standards and modulation schemes
• Interact with other engineers in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
• BS degree in engineering, physics or related technical field, MS preferred and PhD considered for higher level positions
• 4+ years work experience RF, radiating systems or antenna design
• Experience with low profile or conformal antenna design a plus
• Experience with RF test equipment and software (Network and Spectrum Analyzers, RF Generators, Pre-Amplifiers)
Laboratory and field experience a plus.
