We are the leading manufacturer of water meters and reading systems in North America. This operation has the following immediate openings:
Job Description: Design, develop and implement new electronic products. Perform project management and coordination with others in R&E, Marketing, and Manufacturing for new products. Develop project schedule and budgets as well as insuring compliance with both. Can function as Project Team Leader for small projects.
Other Position Objectives: Work with other engineers to qualify RF, WiFi and GPRS products. Write test specs, set up system tests, set up FTTP site and set up DHCP servers. Install and beta test WiFi systems in the field.
Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years experience in design and development or testing
Working knowledge the below technical applications:
Knowledge of HFSS, GMSK and DSSS modulation
Test knowledge of RF devices
Knowledge of microcontrollers and firmware
Working knowledge of WiFi. Zigbee and WiMax
Working knowledge of WiFi network set up Static and Dynamic IP addresses
Working Knowledge of FTP site, DHCP server settings
