JOB OFFERING
Hedger Engineering Projects Limited is an Approved Service Provider (ASP) to LM Ericsson Nigeria Limited.
Ericsson dominates about 70% of the Telecommunications Equipment Supply market in Nigeria (including the West African sub-region). We have vast project opportunities with LM Ericsson in Nigeria and Ghana in West Africa.
We have immediate requirement for the services of four (4nos) Hardware Switch Installers;
Experience installing Ericsson Core Network Equipment Nodes; MSC-S/MGW, HLR, BSC, RNCODF BYB501, SGSN R8 MkVI 400, Optical Coupler Distribution Unit, GGSN R4 HW Base, MPBN, MINSAT Medium HW, SDP HW, Co-located AIR/VS HW, DWS Medium HW, VS Standard HW, AIRS HW, SDP Standard (T2000) HW, MMSC, ADC, CBC Large Site, Service on Microwave, etc.
- Hands-on / practical experience installing Ericsson Core Network Switches from start to completion (new sites).
- Ability to Lead a Team of two (2) Installers/Helpers, and provide results that meet Ericsson's Quality requirements and target timelines.
- Ability to Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to Installers/Helpers to ensure competence development and expertise to support the business.
- Training and Certification by Ericsson is a requirement. However, applicants having significant experience installing Ericsson Core Network Switches can apply.
