Pre-contract award responsibilities including assistance in preparation and negotiations of bids/proposals that contain major project management requirements to minimize contractual risks and leading oral presentations.
Post-contract award responsibilities including being the prime customer interface during project implementation, timely execution of all aspects of assigned customer projects including planning, scheduling, installation, system acceptance, managing field service project efforts and overall customer satisfaction
Financial responsibilities including managing profitability, assets and cash flow for assigned projects as well as representing Tyco Electronics in contract negotiations with regard to contract change orders and add-ons.
PMP certified, MBA preferred, Technical B.S, or equivalent.
Program Management in Land Mobile Radio or Communications implementation preferred.
Public Safety experience a plus.
Demonstrated P&L responsibility and major project management skills.
Demonstrated organizing, planning and negotiating skills.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Record of customer interface.
Periodic domestic travel required (approximately 30-50% anticipated).
Successful candidate would be based in the PIMA County, Arizona area.
