Job based in Warsaw, 12 month contract
The Localisation Project Manager
applies knowledge of localisation and project management principles and processes to plan the localised Consumer OEM software product release. Sets schedules and helps manage resources. Manages project, scope change, quality output, communications, and risk mitigation. Identifies potential problems and drives resolution. Negotiates, manages, and resolves conflict.
Main Duties
Core responsibility is the fulfillment of all localised OEM software worldwide
Owns OEM software delivery according to planned schedule.
Optimization of schedule to manage to particular tradeoffs/criteria (features, time, resources).
Proactively manage project risks.
Identifying and implementing process improvements
Work with APAC manufacturing team to facilitate the shipping and manufacturing of OEM and special SKU software from Singapore site.
Work with Trade Compliance teams (in APAC and US) – to ensure that all trade compliance requirements are met.
Work with regional sales teams to provide information and training on OEM, ISP and Special SKU processes around the creation and delivery of OEM software.
Manage the Regional OEM request database including development and roll-out of upcoming versions. Also manage the administration of requests through the database.
Project management certification required
3-4 years of project management experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Localization experience preferred
Excellent English required
5+ years localisation experience
Essential Skills:
Cross functional project management experience and a proven track record in a software localisation environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines
Strong project scheduling and planning skills.
Ability to understand and manage tradeoff decisions
