PDS Technical Services is a leading provider of contract staffing to Fortune 100 - 1000 companies in the Engineering, Finance and IT arenas. We are seeking a customer service oriented individual for our client in Reston, VA who can perform the duties outlined below.
*Perform detailed IP/MPLS network engineering, IP network audits, configurations development, and documentation for network infrastructure that supports our clients FIOS IP Data, IP Video, & VoIP services.
*Work with vendors such as Cisco and Juniper on an ongoing basis to ensure that our clients requirements are engineered and delivered satisfactorily.
*5+ yrs of IP/MPLS engineering, operations and/or qualification experience in Service Provider or large Enterprise IP networks, including large Data Center environments -
*BS in CS, EE, IT, MIS
*CCNP, JNCIP, or higher IP certs
*IS-IS/OSPF, BGP, MPLS VPNs (Rfc 2547bis/4364), QoS, IPSec VPNs, Stateful Firewalls, SLBs, Ethernet switching, IP Multicast
*Cisco 12000 GSRs, Cisco 10000 ESR, Cisco 7500/7206, Cisco 6500/7600, Cisco 4948/3750/2950, Cisco FWSM, Cisco IDSM, Juniper M/T series, Juniper E series, F5
*Engineering/tuning of IP networks supporting delay & jitter sensitive realtime applications.
