UTRAN integration engineer with Ericsson equipment experience
Reporting to Support & Supply Platform Manager, Support Engineer UTRAN will be responsible of;
•To remedy faults in the UTRAN interface functions (RNC, RXI & RBS)
•CSR Handling
•To remedy faults found while performing system upgrades
•To plan, design, troubleshoot and resolve problems in order to stabilize and optimize customer networks
•Assembly and testing of Correction packages
•Emergency Support handling
•To participate in customer meetings
A Suitable candidate should have the following DEGREE:
Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Computer, Electric/Electronics and/or Telecommunications Engineering
A Suitable candidate should posses some of the following KNOWLEDGE:
•Telecommunications Knowledge i.e. Telephony Principles, Traffic Concepts, Telecommunications Network
•UTRAN protocols which is used in UMTS signaling
•UMTS, particularly RNC & RXI configuration which make up the UMTS UTRAN network
•Solid IT (PC, Unix and Networking) and Telecommunication skills at system level
•Knowledge of most OSS-RC functions and protocols
•Knowledge about OSS-RC characteristics
Practical experience with:
• ATM
• Signaling , #7 ,QAAL2,
• AAL2 switching
• CPP
• HSDPA
• Node-B
• MO scripts ,
• Bulk CM and XML scripting
• MOSHEL |
