Wireless Engineer I / Technician III
You will be responsible for test and software verification for wireless engineering projects for Mobile Handsets. Our customer base ranges from Nokia Mobile Phones to Sprint Nextel. You must be able to interface with clients on a daily basis and manage their expectations. Our clients expect our associates to have good working knowledge of RF engineering and capabilities beyond our customer’s engineers.
Education:
• Minimum BSEE degree or Associates Degree for Technicians
Experience:
• Minimum 1-2 years in Wireless Engineering or 3-5 years for Technicians
Mandatory Requirements:
• Theoretical Understanding of CDMA/EVDO Systems
• Experiece with Customer Acceptance testing in a Field Environment (i.e. FIT/STIC)
• Analyze problems and report errors using fault tracking tools such as ClearQuest
• Creating Test Reports
Preffered Requirements:
• Experience with QXDM or other handset logging tools
• Setup of Test Equipment (Network Simulators and Protocol Analyzers such as RACAL 6103, Anite/SAS, Agilent, CRTC)
• Create strong customer relationships and communication including delivery of services.
• Must have the ability to influence customer teams and their management to support your efforts.
• Support goals and objectives of ArcLight Wireless and the customer by meeting deadlines and reaching project goals.
