Job Purpose:
•To develop test plans/process’ for new products
•To improve test plans for existing products
•To assist in cost reduction programs, in particular test
•To support New Product Introduction
•To validate new test process, and new test software
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop Test Plans
From a given product specification:-
decide what parameters need to be tested
decide how to test those parameters
determine equipment requirements
develop factory specifications
o Develop board level test plans
• Develop Scope Statements
• Evaluate Test System
• Create Debug Guide
o Debug NPI products initially
o Support handover to production, maintenance engineering, and debug engineering
Key Competencies Required:
•Significant experience in RF and Digital Test systems
•Technical competency and analytical skills
•Good understanding of six sigma/Cpk/SPC techniques and its application to all test processes.
•Experience with automated test systems
•Good planning and organisational skills
•Good interpersonal and communications skills.
•Computer literacy, in particular MS Office
•Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential.
•Good documentation skills
Previous Relevant Work Experience:
•6 – 8 years in high volume manufacturing in a similar role
•Exposure to ISO-9000 / WCM
Minimum Qualifications:
•Masters in Electronic Engineering or equivalent plus 3 years relevant experience
OR
• Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent plus 5 years relevant experience.
