Summary:
This position is for the adept and ambitions RF Engineer who is seeking quality-of-life and wishes to relocate from a high-stress large metro area but for the same or improved remuneration package.

RF Systems Engineer/Project Manager
Remuneration:
$90 to 120K DOE plus relocation package.

Responsibilities
* Manage domestic and international proposals including financial and technical bid strategy. With major project opportunities this might include attending bidder conferences, pre-award site surveys, strategy and pricing meetings with suppliers.
* Manage the preparation of technical proposals and pricing. This includes delegating technical assignments to individuals within or outside of engineering department, developing a project bill of materials, working with purchasing to obtain pricing for OEM equipment and preparing engineering cost estimates.
* Executing systems contracts including organizing a project team that will engineer, integrate, test and provide any required field installation & testing functions as required in contracts.
* Manage any subcontracts for materials or services, including any in-country services.
* Provide the primary engineering expertise for the design and integration of systems involving client\'s microwave data links and logical link control products.
* Interact with customers for commercial and technical issues, scheduling, acceptance tests, and other project matters.
* Determine requirements for site surveys, propagation analysis and other RF design activities.
Prerequisites:
* BSEE or other technical degree.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in RF and telecom that might include cellular/PCS communications, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), mobile radio, point-to-point microwave transmission, Wi-Fi, WiMax and Wide Area Networks.
* Experience in project management.
* Site surveys and propagation studies.
* Good experience with MS Office and project management tools.
* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
