Description: System Test and Verification
As a member of the product development team, you must have strong technical abilities and hands on experience with the set-up, testing, and system level troubleshooting of networking and wireless networking products. This position plays a key role in the quality assurance testing of our WLAN products. The responsibilities cover the entire cycle from lab set-up, integration and system testing and test automation.
Responsibilities include:
· Creation and execution of functional, interoperability, regression, and performance test procedures from derived from the functional specifications
· Analyzing and documenting test results, filing defect reports and enhancement requests
· Collaborating with product development teams to investigate and resolve defect reports
· Participating in creation of test environments and development of test automation
Requirements:
· 5+ years of development, testing or deployment experience of IP network products, protocols and technologies.
· 5+ years of software and hardware product testing experience - knowledge of white/black box testing, system/integration testing methodologies and quality assurance techniques
· Experience testing in LINUX environment preferred. Network management, network application testing experience
· Experience in the preparation and execution of test plans, test schedules, test cases, test scripts, and test procedures.
· Experience with automated test equipment, network traffic generation, performance and analysis test tools
· Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (QuickTest, Etest, Tcl/Tk, Perl, etc...)
· Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with team leaders and development personnel regarding project progress and product issues
You must be detailed orientated and have an infectious problem-finding and problem-solving mentality. You understand the customer\'s environment and point of view so that you can realistically and thoroughly put the product through its paces
Nice to have\'s : Hands on wireless networking experience (802.11 protocols and WiFi Interoperability testing). Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) designation or equivalent experience is nice to have |
