IMMEDIATE OPENING - SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
This leading Wireless Technology company is a leading provider of
product and services, and expertise in the wireless industry and
has a worldwide customer base. They are a leading provider of products
and expertise that enable wireless operators to optimize quality of
service and minimize capital investmennts. All major
air interface technologies are supported including AMPS, TDMA, CDMA,
iDEN, and GSM.
To qualify for this position you must have 6 years of software
development experience, including 3 years as a senior/lead developer.
Requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with product managers to analyze software development
requirements.
Assist in design and development of Real Time Cellular Network Test
and Measurement tools.
Act as Project Lead on selected initiatives from product inception to
completion.
Assist in evaluating and integrating new technologies into the product
platform.
This position reports to the Manager of Software Engineering.
Experience: At least 6 years of software development experience,
including 3 years as a senior / lead developer.
Technical Skills:
Very strong proficiency in developing real-time, multi-threaded
applications using Microsoft C++ and C#.
Experience with .NET technologies is required.
Experience with XML is required.
Experience with MFC, COM, and STL is a plus.
Strong technical knowledge in software development methodologies, UML
documentation, design and
implementation.
Object oriented design and development methodology skills required.
Superior analysis, development and diagnostic skills to work on both
new development and the enhancement of
existing products.
Must be proficient in research, analysis, implementation and project
planning.
Excellent understanding of entire development process, including
specification, documentation and quality
assurance.
Knowledge of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience developing test and measurement applications is a plus.
Cellular network experience including GSM, GPRS, CDMA, WCDMA
background a plus.
BS/MS in Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
