Major Telecom Needs:
Job Description : UMTS UTRAN Integration• Preferred Degree(s) BS or MS EE/CSE/CE d • Minimum 3-years experience working with telecommunications hardware and software on site at customer locations.• Detailed knowledge of UMTS / HSDPA.• Excellent communications skills (Verbal and written)• Experience troubleshooting end-to-end Inter-Network Integration in the field. • Working knowledge of Solaris (SUN) platform • Detailed knowledge of Unix administration down to the Kernel Level• Partitioning of Disk Space, File Structure and overall administration• In-depth knowledge of provisioning of TCP-IP Addresses for Servers and Work Stations (IP address, Netmask, gateway and VLANs)• Working knowledge of OMC-U Hardware Platform including (SunFire V1280 Server, StorEdge Disk Array, Avaya Cajun P333R) • Detailed knowledge of platform specific physical connectivity of C-PSB Platform and OMC-U cabling and power• Working knowledge of OMC SW installation process and application specific variables• Provisioning of platform specific Network Elements including; RNC and OMC• Familiarity with Northbound Management Interface and connectivity requirements• Fault and Performance Management of Network Elements including (SNMP set/get, FTP and CORBA interfaces) |
