Well versed with operation and maintenance of NSN DX200 (M13 & M14) MSS/MGW/HLR platforms. Performing and managing daily based operations & maintenance related tasks of the above mentioned nodes.
Preventive maintenance of DX200 code nodes such as taking routine configuration and database backups. Taking lead role to ensure that these day to day preventive maintenance processes are in place. Coordinating with OMC team on daily basis for the same.
Performing corrective maintenance actions to troubleshoot core node problems such as hardware issues, software package issues relating to MSS/MGW and HLR. Detecting the faults, planning and executing the corrective actions to clear the same.
Taking lead role in node database configuration viz B-Number configuration, IMSI/GT analysis DB configuration, SS7/C7 route configuration etc. Configuration of VAS related short codes in B-Number tables. Testing of all these codes after approval from RA team.
Liaisoning and coordinating with partner operators (private and bsnl) in order to execute augmentation plans based on the requirement. Configuring the required definitions and conducting the acceptance tests over ISUP POI.
Creation/Configuration of SS7/C7 links/link set/signaling routes as per the requirements of planning team. Keeping the SS7 link distribution balanced on the node hardware as well as in MSS/MGW DB configuration.
