To whom it may concern,
My name is Ben Rainey and I have been the general manager of Bling Wireless in Bozeman, Montana for the past five years. I am writing this letter on behalf of my Sales Manager Forrest McKai. Forrest has been an asset to my company since 2009 when he was hired as a sales associate. He walked into my store to apply as most young college graduates do overconfident and overzealous to fill a position he knew little about regarding the technical nature of the wireless industry. I have watched Forrest develop from an entry level salesman who simply showed up for his shift, to become the attentive and aware sales manager whom I trust with my business and employees. During the past two years he has harnessed the technical tools and mastered the customer service required in an industry that can overwhelm those who are not yet ready. He is a determined and punctual worker who will do whatever it takes to get the job done. He has performed the opening and closing shifts at Bling Wireless for the past two years and it was a relief to find an employee who I could rely on while unsupervised. There are not enough young people entering the job market that are capable of what he has done for my company. His exemplary work ethic and positive attitude are traits I will base my future hiring on in the hopes of duplicating his productivity and his next company will be lucky to have him.
To write this letter both uplifts and saddens me. On one hand, I am excited to see him move towards his career goals of bigger and better opportunities which I know he is more than capable of achieving. On the other hand, I am distraught to see a seasoned team manager leave my company. As you know, good help is very hard to find, and with Forrest McKai you will receive it in spades. Please feel free to call upon me with any further questions or concerns, as I will happily make myself available at any time for this determined young man.
