The scope of work involved Test strategy, Test Case generation, System & Daily Build Sanity Test Execution, Bug Reporting, Bug Verification etc. Types of Testing done involved the following Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Interoperable Testing OA was used to arrive at optimum number of event based interoperable TCs, Performance & Stress Testing A generic framework was evolved to test exploratory test scenarios. Project Description DoCoMo SUPL (Secure User Plane Location) system intends to support OMA SUPL functions for NTT DoCoMo. DoCoMo currently provides LBS to their domestic users, while SUPL will be used to provide LBS (Location based Service) to users roaming out of Japan. This system will be based on the SUPL functions currently supported by MALS.
Contribution Documentation Activities Analyzed the complete SUPL requirements and prepared the test cases separately for Interface, Functions, Position calculation, Alarms, Performance,
O & M and WEB-GUI test items. After approval of test list from Motorola Test Managements, prepared the detailed test procedures for all the test items. Prepared the detailed individual bug reports during test runs, knowledge sharing document, Trouble shooting documents.
Testing Activities Basic and complete functional testing for 3 test cycles i.e. IOT, Alpha, Beta & Commercial test phases. Installation of SET Simulators and prepare test beds.
