JOB DESCRIPTION
Performs specialized task that are technical in nature with direct responsibility for accuracy of the results of the work of an organizational unit
Conducts Routines and Restorations in accordance with assigned GSM Field Operations, Administration and Maintenance duties
Responsible for the O & M Routine and Restoration work for the BSS system and its ancillary
Uses mechanisms, systems tools to receive feedback from all sources of problem reports
Performs Routines and Restoration work on Switch and IN based Systems, GSM network Radio and Transmission components, and GSM network Environmental and Security, and GSM network Environmental and Security alarms
Ensures that all service performance parameters are strictly maintained within acceptable limits
Conducts, collates and reports data from assigned drive tests
Adheres to the processes and procedures designed to ensure service level agreement and key performance indicator are satisfied
Employs the use of diagnostics tools and network performance analyzer to determine that the services complied with DMPI service delivery standards such as network availability, call completion, congestion limit, drop-call limit and fault restoration time
Supports and maintains the logistics, dispatch and deployment spares to restore and maintain the network functionality
Provides feedback and status of fault restoration activity to Technical Support (Help Desk) and coordinate with Network Monitoring and Diagnostics Center to perform testing and troubleshooting of GSM network components
Helps manage and maintains the logistics for accurate spares inventory for the area covered by the assigned field office
Performed Site inspection / restoration and Equipment inventory
Performed BTS/ Transmission/ Power Restoration and troubleshooting
Performed RBS/ BTS/ PDH/ SDH equipment commissioning/ software upgrading and trouble shooting.
Rigging / Installation of PDH/ SDH MW and GSM antennas, feeder and jumper cables, wave guide, IF, and grounding cables.
Performed feeder and jumper cable sweep-testing / Transmission BER testing/ MW Alignment/ GSM Antenna orientation
Conducted Site acceptance with project management staff BIS/ PAT/ SAT/ FAT (TELECOM@CIVILWORKS).
Conducts Site preventive maintenance by schedule with outsource
