Field Engineer, Tele2 AB
My main tasks are to work with the operation & maintenance of Tele2s
2G, 3G and 4G networks.
In the GSM field, I have experience from Motorola equipment, as well as the new replacement hardware Huawei combined 2G/4G base stations. I work a lot with the BTSs and the transmission of the new 4G network which includes configuration of IP based switches and radiolinks. (Juniper, Adva, Transmode,Huawei,Ericsson).
Other types of transmission that I have extensive knowledge of includes Microwave links (Ericsson minilink TN, CN , Powerwave, DMC). SHDSL (Telindus), Tellabs, Marconi and Corrigent.
The UMTS equipment that I have a wide range experience of is Ericssons RBS3202, RBS3206 and RBS6000 and the RNCs.
Tower climbing is another part of my present job. It mainly includes Line Of Sight controls, replacing spare-parts like TMAs, radio link ODUs and obstruction lights.
To be high up in the tower in the fresh air is something I really enjoy
My work also consists of other tasks, such as different power systems Eldaco, Eltek and Powcom.
A natural part of my job is of course to meet customers in order to maintain a good relationship and level of service.

My name is Mats and I live in Stockholm, Sweden.
As you can see in my CV I have a long experience of working in the telecom industry,
as a Field Engineer at one of Swedens biggest telecom operators Tele2 AB, since
1998.
I live with my wife and children in Vaxholm, outside Stockholm. We all enjoy
the nature, and spends a lot of time outdoors. In the winter we go skiing and in the summer we prefer to go out with our boat in the sea. I like to travel, meet new people and experiencing new environments.
I am reliable and dependable. I consider myself to be emotionally mature and calming.
For me its obvious to seek and find solutions to challenges. Not least, it has proven to be valuable during the time I have designed and built the house we live in.
I have a positive temperament, I am tolerant and supportive.
After many years in the business its natural for me to work both in teams and independently.
Combined with my passion for technology, all my years of experience in telecommunication, I am now ready for a new career move.
My goal is to find a job as a Field Engineer or similar in Australia.
