B. New site Planning & Management
Carrying out nominal planning for coverage (Highway, Hot spots & Railway nominal planning) for capacity planning according to traffic utilization of nearby sites). Field Planning and Site survey of sites for coverage in new towns.
Recommending RF Specifications of the sites including type of Antenna, TRx Configuration, TMA Planning, orientation, Tower height to meet the coverage objective including (Repeater & I.B.S).
Predicting coverage & calculating interference with statistics for new sites.
Integrating site by carrying out drive test analysis.
Optimization
Responsible for Cluster Optimization and report submission to NSN in agreed format.
Cell wise physical optimization using Nemo Analyser 5.17 and proposing the physical changes, swaps and missing neighbours.
Handover failure analysis based on the Drive test plots.
Controlling the pilot pollution, to improve the EC/Io by proposing the electrical tilts, antenna height reduction and CPICH power changes.
Cluster level analysis based on Scatter plot of RSCP Vs EC/Io, RSCP, and EC/Io Vs CQI.
Single Cell Functionality Test of newly integrated sites and testing of R99, HSPA, Voice and Video test.
Report Preparation of WCDMA BTS (Plot SC, RSCP, Ec/Io, SHO, missing neighbour, active set, UE Tx Power, BLER)
Checking the parameter inconsistency by taking dump.
Drive test data logs analysis, Nemo analyser tool making the report as per customer requirement.
Responsible for final cluster acceptance. Resolution of customer complain
