RF Planning, Design and Optimization Engineer
During first quarter of the 2009, responsible for indoor planing and design for Huawei company which is client of the Vodafone in 3G Turkey Project. 4 indoor sites during 4 month, from start to end.
- Swap of RF GSM Antennas with UMTS antennas to make specific sites 3G ready.
- Planning new sites on the basis of coverage, to maintain thresholds provided by Vodafone in specific clutters.
- Planning of new sites on the basis of capacity by monitoring traffic stats and call blocking.
- Planning of sites and repeaters in ATOLL Planning tool.
- Managing site survey teams for draft visit and identification of proper candidates.
- Making sure that sites are planned on grid and are following our standard azimuth and inter site distance criterion.
- Using drive tests to smooth the coverage of sites in Optimi and Atoll and deciding the models to be used.
